Angela Collins, PhD

Dr. Angela Collins is a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience providing integrative care and therapy.  She specializes in treatment for anxiety, adjustment-related concerns, stress management, and career and performance enhancement. 

Dr. Collins has a special interest in clinical health psychology, including a focus on women’s health and wellness. Specific attention to the interrelationships between physical, emotional, and social factors is critical in her approach to care. Emphasis is placed on treating the whole person to empower them to live an authentic and meaningful life, even in complex life circumstances.

Gillian Freeborn, PsyD

Dr. Freeborn enjoys working with adolescents and adults across a wide range of topics and has over 10 years of experience providing therapy and assessments in a hospital setting. Her expertise is in health psychology and includes training in areas such as chronic illness and pain, adjustment to medical illness, women’s health (peri and postpartum depression/anxiety), pre-surgical evaluations, and helping individuals meet their general mental health goals.

Dr. Freeborn also have a special interest in sports psychology. Having competed as an athlete at a national level, she is aware of the stress that often accompanies balancing sport and life and has knowledge of the demands that may impact performance, motivation, focus and ultimately - enjoyment of life and athletics. She believes managing these difficulties through enhanced confidence, interpersonal skills, and stress management is important to maintain overall wellbeing.

Samantha Oliver, PhD

Dr. Samantha Oliver is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience providing psychological evaluations and therapy services. At Nova Mental Health, she will be providing cognitive evaluations for diagnostic needs and treatment recommendations to offer the best options for individuals. She provides psychological evaluations for individuals across the lifespan from older adults to those as young as 16-years-old.

Her areas of expertise, in addition to psychological evaluations, include evidence-based treatments for trauma, anxiety, and panic disorders. Dr. Oliver also provides goal directed treatment for those adjusting to life within healthy aging, as well as grief/loss and other major life transitions. Populations of special interest for treatment include Veterans and first responders.
